At EEA Advisory, books are reconciled daily, BAS is lodged early, and clients never open Xero to a nasty surprise. Our bookkeeping department is expanding, and we are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team of Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Financial Advisers.
Based in Capalaba, we work with business owners across Australia and use modern cloud tools to keep their finances clear and dependable.
What you'll do
- Own a portfolio of clients across a diverse mix of industries.
- Keep files current in Xero, with bank feeds reconciled and nothing left to pile up.
- Prepare and lodge BAS/IAS accurately and ahead of deadline.
- Run payroll and STP, including weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs, super, and leave.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable so clients always know where their cash is.
- Spot and fix issues with clearing accounts, coding, and integrations before tax time.
What we're looking for
- Experience with Xero and MYOB.
- An understanding of GST, BAS, STP, and payroll compliance basics.
- Attention to detail and reliability.
- A proactive, team-first approach.
