Wealth strategy and tax strategy should not be in different buildings.
- Your accountant and your financial adviser do not talk to each other, so the tax and wealth strategies pull in different directions.
- You have built a successful business, but the personal wealth plan keeps getting deferred to next year.
- Super contributions, insurance cover, and estate plans were set years ago and have never been formally reviewed.
- We see this pattern in nearly every initial wealth conversation. EEA Advisory was built so your tax position, your business, and your personal wealth strategy are all coordinated by one team.

Questions we hear most often.
Have a question that is not here? Call 07 3399 2300 or book a consultation and we will answer it directly.
What is the difference between an accountant and a financial adviser?
A Chartered Accountant prepares and lodges tax, advises on business structures, and handles compliance with the ATO. A financial adviser, under an AFSL, provides personal advice on investments, superannuation, insurance, retirement, and estate planning. At EEA Advisory you have both in the same office, so the two perspectives reach the same conclusion.
Do I need a minimum portfolio size to engage you?
There is no firm minimum. Wealth advice is most cost-effective when there is something material to plan for, which may be a growing super balance, an upcoming retirement, a business sale, or family wealth transfer. We will tell you honestly during the discovery call whether wealth advice will move the needle for you.
How is your wealth advice regulated?
All personal financial advice is provided under Count Financial Limited, AFSL 227232. Statements of Advice are prepared in line with the Corporations Act and the Count Financial compliance framework. The Financial Services Guide (FSG) sets out how we are remunerated and how complaints are handled.
Who is Count Financial and how are you connected?
Count Financial Limited (ABN 19 001 974 625) is the holder of Australian Financial Services Licence number 227232 and a subsidiary of Count Limited (ABN 11 126 990 832), which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. EEA Advisory (Altias Private Wealth Pty Ltd, ABN 91 649 047 585) is an authorised representative of Count Financial, which means Count Financial is responsible for the advice we provide under that licence.
Can my SMSF roll into your wealth advice service?
Yes. Many of our wealth clients also use our SMSF accounting team in the same office, so contribution strategy, pension setup, and investment decisions are coordinated between the wealth adviser and the SMSF accountant. You are welcome to keep an existing SMSF auditor or accountant if you prefer.
How are your fees structured?
Fees are disclosed in writing before any engagement begins, with the full breakdown in the FSG and the Statement of Advice. We charge for the work to be performed, not commissions where avoidable, with the exact structure tailored to the scope of advice. There are no surprise fees.
Will I get a written Statement of Advice?
Yes. Personal financial advice always comes with a written Statement of Advice (SoA) that explains what we recommend, why we recommend it, what it costs, and any alternatives we considered. The SoA is yours to keep, review with anyone you choose, and ask questions about before you implement.
