About Ben

Ben Venter is a Partner and Financial Adviser at EEA Advisory, with more than 16 years' experience in financial planning. Based at the firm's Capalaba office, he helps individuals, families, business owners and professionals across Brisbane and the Redlands make confident, informed decisions about their financial future.

Ben began his career in financial planning in 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Finance, at Griffith University, followed by a Diploma of Financial Services through Kaplan. He achieved FASEA certification in 2020 and holds specialist accreditations in self-managed superannuation funds and business insurance. He is a Practitioner Member of the Financial Advice Association Australia and an Affiliate Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

His advice spans retirement planning and superannuation strategy, self-managed super funds, wealth accumulation and investment strategy, personal and business insurance, business succession, and intergenerational wealth transfer and estate planning. Ben works alongside EEA Advisory's accountants so that tax, structure and wealth decisions fit one plan, and he focuses on simplifying complex financial matters and aligning each strategy with the client's goals.

As a devoted family man, Ben understands the importance of financial stability and peace of mind. That perspective shapes how he guides clients through key life stages, whether they are planning for retirement, protecting family wealth or handing it on to the next generation.

Ben is also passionate about mentorship and community involvement. He is a regular volunteer at his local football club, where he supports his children as players, and he takes part in fundraising initiatives through the year, including efforts to support missions in developing countries. A recovering tennis enthusiast, he enjoys watching tennis and rugby union these days, and keeps active with football, cricket, golf and the occasional game of squash.

What drives Ben
“A deep commitment to helping others achieve financial clarity and long-term security. Building lasting relationships, and delivering advice that empowers individuals and families to make confident, informed decisions about their future.”
